I have a theory: The only way to cope with the utter inundation of content from this fandom is to write them all down.
Case in point: The other night, when C was doing the main visual for the opening tweet for our latest sahyo, we could turn the world to gold, she turned to me to ask: Who posted that Sana pic again? The one where they were on the floor?
At the time, I had just finished trawling through my Instagram stories archive. I had just passed the day when I reposted that, captioned with barely decipherable meltdown, and thus was able to instantly respond. (It was Sana on IG btw, June 30th, because happy pride ig???) and then it dawned on me—how easy it could be, to draft a proper year-ender, if I only paid better attention as things went along???
So here we are. This year’s ambitious plan is to do a semi-regular longform twice wrap/recap.

TWICE announces 13th mini-album “With YOU-th”
Last Christmas, the girls shared the teaser for I GOT YOU, the pre-release single that is dropping on Feb 2nd. For New Year’s, they released a Mood Film for their upcoming mini-album With YOU-th, which is dropping Feb 24th, and boy does everything look and sound Great. Offhand and very personally, it feels like a Save the Date video featuring the most gorgeous set of bridesmaids EVER.
ANYWAY. By the time the snippet was revealed a few days later, we were already beside ourselves in joy—something about the way Dahyun sings, We were lightning from the start—
I think it’s a good line and I can’t wait for the rest of it!
AO3 things
Ongoing updates for two fics simultaneously—yep, a crazy way to start the year, we’re aware, but isn’t it all irresistible:
a little less conversation, which is mihyo where jihyo is a (relatively older than most) post-grad student and mina is her (very young all considered) elective instructor, and it’s all very dumb. ongoing, 3/?, somewhere close to 9k. it gets a little tense in parts, and people have said they feel so much second-hand embarrassment in jihyo’s behalf, and i can’t say i can blame them.
we could turn the world to gold, which is a sahyo exes fic. i wrote this initially as the sahyo backstory in i’ve loved you for so long (yes, the jeonghyo one) but c requested for this to… end slightly differently. so here we are. 1/?, ~2.2k words, ALSO as mentioned above, can you pls behold this visual:

fic rec: but the house always wins by westhyo — which is MISAHYO bless. did you know there are only fourteen fics in the misahyo tag on ao3??
